1 – New rules for taking advantage of PTZ
New resource ceilings, zero-rate loan amount increased for the most modest or even new repayment periods… The PTZ, as its name suggests, is an interest-free loan, dedicated to buyers of their first main residence, who are called first-time buyers. To benefit from it, many conditions are respected. It has had a facelift since April 1, 2024. Here are the new provisions applied.
2 – Bad news for the energy check
The 2024 energy checks are being sent everywhere in France since Tuesday April 2. Help greatly awaited by beneficiary households. Yet in 2023, only 4 out of 5 beneficiaries spent their energy check to pay their electricity or gas bills, according to the latest statistics released this week. The rate of non-use of energy checks, the amount of which can reach 277 euros, was close to 17% as of March 26. But this rate remains provisional.
