New Schweiger film – celebrate the premiere of “The best is yet to come!”

“The best is yet to come!” opens exclusively in cinemas on December 7th. The film by and with Til Schweiger tells the emotional story about the best friends Felix (Schweiger) and Arthur (Michael Maertens), who, after a big misunderstanding, are both firmly convinced that the other only has a few months left to live. They embark on an adventure together to celebrate life and their friendship one last time. Although they couldn’t be more different, Arthur (Michael Maertens) and Felix (Til Schweiger) have always been best friends – one a pedantic philistine, the other a rascal living in the fast lane. In order to help his friend who has burned down, Arthur lends him his medical card for an examination in the hospital and learns that Felix is ​​terminally ill. The film tells the emotional story of two best friends who, through a big misunderstanding, learn all over again what they have in each other. Director Til Schweiger adapted the French tragicomedy “The best is yet to come – La meilleur reste à venir” by Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte from 2019 for the film.
