“Three against One – The Show of Champions” puts Elton (53), Jens “Knossi” Knosalla (37) and Tim Mälzer (53) to the test. On two Saturday evenings, RTL will show the new show with the prominent trio taking on all kinds of challenges. On April 20th and 27th, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. you can watch the three compete as a team in various disciplines against professionals in their respective fields. The show is moderated by Laura Wontorra (35).

This is how “three against one” works

Elton, Knossi and Tim Mälzer have a lot to do. They will be challenged in ten games by the best in their field. They meet human and animal world champions, record holders and Olympic champions. The challenges are just as diverse. The presenter, the streamer and the cook have to prove themselves in “tongue acrobatics”, “car flipping” or “biting balloons”, for example, the broadcaster RTL announced in advance.

The Show of Champions offers prize money of 50,000 euros on both Saturdays. For each challenge, either the three celebrities and the professional win 2,500 euros. Whoever emerges as the overall winner at the end of the show will receive an additional 25,000 euros.

These are the champions

Elton, Knossi and Mälzer compete against nine professionals in a total of nine challenges and one final. There are real champions among them: Valentin Baus (28) won gold in table tennis at the Paralympics in 2021, Sebastian Brendel (36) is a three-time Olympic champion in canoeing. The sport continues with Anna Chernova. She is the German arm wrestling champion. Dennis Kohlruss has already been named “Germany’s Strongest Man” three times at the German Strongman Championship.

Marie Schumann, the “most successful firefighter in Germany”, needs to be defeated, as does Lukas Schomann. The teenager is German children’s memory champion. Only this opponent may have an even better memory: the artificial intelligence ChatGPT also wants to beat the trio.

The three face a jack of all trades in the final tenth game with André Ortolf. He is the German with the most world records. These include, among other things, the most types of ice cream blindly recognized in one minute and the fastest covered ten meters on light bulbs. Channel Tapper’s record almost sounds normal: she has the longest tongue in the world. The Jack Russel Terrier Bailey also offers animal fun: he is the world champion at biting balloons.
