New Tales from the Borderlands: release date, story and heroes, Deluxe edition, cover… a big leak reveals almost everything about the sequel!

Gearbox Software and 2K Games had pulled off a great tour de force by teaming up with Telltale Games for Tales from the Borderlands, a narrative game in the universe of the cult saga. We thought the spin-off adventure was over, especially following the setbacks of Telltalebut Gearbox revealed in April that it would be taking matters into its own hands to develop a sequel, slated for release in 2022 and slated for a reveal this summer.

The summary states that anu will be an altruistic scientist who dreams of a world without weapons, Octavio his ambitious and resourceful brother driven by a spirit of revenge, and French a fierce character who dreams of fame and fortune. The story with its many narrative branches would be divided into 5 parts (a priori available all at once), and will feature known and new faces.
