It was during the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2022 that Gearbox Software and 2K Games formalized New Tales from the Borderlands, a new narrative and standalone opus taking place in the Borderlands universe, due to arrive at the end of October. Moreover, recently, the development studio and the publisher in charge of the title shared a new gameplay video, providing details about the title.
Thus, thanks to this new visual communication, we learn a little more about to the protagonists from New Tales from the Borderlands, being Anu, Octovio and Fran. Moreover, remember that we will have to embody all these characters, and not just one. Offering gameplay footage, this video also allows us to have an overview of game mechanics. As in Tales from the Borderlands, players will have to make choices, within a given time, and many QTEs. In addition, New Tales from the Borderlands will feature infiltration scenes, Metal Gear style, and, at least, a mini-game, illustrated in this video.
As a reminder, New Tales from the Borderlands is due to arrive on October 21. On this date, the title will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC, and this according to several editions.
