Fans of Johnny Depp who want to know everything about the legal dispute between him and Amber Heard paid the responsible court a fee to access the trial documents. This also included notes from Amber Heard’s therapist.

These indicate that, according to Heard, Jason Momoa demanded that Heard be fired. He also appeared on set drunk several times and dressed up as Johnny Depp. A DC spokesperson denied these statements, Variety reports. An insider who visited the set in 2021 says:

Jason works his ass off, drinks the occasional beer like everyone else, but he doesn’t show up drunk. And he doesn’t dress like Johnny Depp. He has always dressed in this bohemian style.

The unnamed insider also claims to have seen Momoa and Heard joking with each other on set.

Elon Musk comes to the rescue

As Variety has also learned, Heard was actually almost fired. Shortly after the release of “Aquaman,” Warner Bros. and director James Wan decided to replace Heard in the sequel. Her lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa was cited as a reason and was even brought up under oath during the Depp/Heard trial.

However, Elon Musk’s lawyers, who was Amber Heard’s partner at the time, got involved. Warner Bros. relented and Heard returned.

As things stand, no cast member of the current Justice League will return in another DC film after “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” However, Momoa is hoping to be recast as Lobo, which Warner Bros. will probably think twice about if Momoa’s reputation takes further damage just before “Aquaman 2.”
