Dahbia B. suffering from no psychiatric disorder

These are two experts mandated by the investigating judge who were responsible for this second psychiatric expertise by meeting the suspect three times during the year 2023. Meetings which resulted in a certainty: Dahbia B. was not suffering from any psychiatric disorder at the time of the murder of little Lola, 12 years old. Doubts which arose after several sources indicated that the suspect was suffering from disorders impairing her discernment and calling into question her criminal responsibility.

In their report, the experts affirm that Dahbia B. is still unable to explain the reasons for her action: “She recognizes the alleged facts, but shows difficulty in identifying the motivations“, certain exchanges with the suspect have also been reported: “I don’t know why I wrote “zero” and “one” on his red-varnished feet (…) I realized that I had killed someone (…) I had no purpose in doing that… In hindsight, I understood that it had done me good.» While it was revealed that the young woman consumed large doses of cannabis, this subject was also covered by the experts: “We have not found any evidence which would show that the person concerned could have been suffering from an acute psychiatric disorder revealed by the consumption of cannabis at the time of the facts.“. It is therefore only “the personality of the young woman» which is called into question by the two experts whom they call “severe pathological» accompanied by a “high criminological danger“. According to the conclusions of this expertise, Dahbia B. can therefore appear before an assize court.
