Joker 2: Folie à deux, one of the most anticipated films of 2024, shows up again with shots of Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) and Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix).
Todd Phillips’ first Joker, which is currently available on Prime Video, was a real phenomenon. Even people who aren’t necessarily attached to superhero universes have seen the film. And the feature film grossed big, very big, with more than $1 billion at the international box office. Given that the budget was only 55 million, it was a gigantic success, hence the validation of Joker 2: Folie à deux.

Despite the writers’ and actors’ strike in Hollywood, Warner Bros. Pictures has not touched the release date of Joker 2: Folie à deux. For the moment, the appointment is therefore still set for October 2, 2024 in France. A sequel as expected as it was feared. Fans are particularly divided on Harley Quinn’s look between those who have full confidence, and others who believe that the makeup and costume do not go far enough.
Before an official trailer for Joker 2: Folie à deux to see it all in motion – which will hopefully arrive fairly quickly – two other photos have been posted online. The first focuses on Lady Gaga almost au naturel and who is not wearing any fancy outfit, but a very classic dress. Obviously, psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel has not yet gone mad, unless the feature film decides to alternate the two facets of her personality.
What is striking about this image, and which has not escaped Internet users, is the already very loving look given by Harley Quinn to her patient. A photo which, this time, pleases more than the previous ones in view of the comments which even presage a race for the Oscar for Lady Gaga. Secondly, we have a sketch of Arthur Fleck through his cell in Arkham Asylum. An iconic place which should be visible during a very large part of the film according to a rumor, which would make sense with regard to the patient-caregiver relationship developed by the Joker and Harley Quinn. As a reminder, Joker 2: Folie à deux will adopt a very different approach since it is a musical, without us knowing more.
