Netflix cracks down on account sharing

Netflix continues its fight against account sharing on its streaming platform. A new measure, detailed last Tuesday by Netflix, should indeed come into force at the beginning of 2023 and will force each user of the service to pay for their own subscription. Additional fees will therefore be provided for people who decide to add a user who does not live under the same roof.

More or less fast Pixel 7 Pro

That’s what @suka_hiroaki shared on Twitter this week. This user has indeed found that the performance of the Pixel 7 Pro varies from one smartphone to another depending on the storage chip supplier. The reporter noted that the model powered by a chip from SK Hynix was faster than the one equipped with the chip made by Micron.

What to expect from the Freebox Revolution update?

Free has just deployed the update bearing the number 1.3.29 of its Freebox Revolution and the novelties are not negligible. The Player has thus been improved, numerous problems with the display of subtitles and QR codes have been corrected, and Free has taken care to solve the problem of zapping between the different channels. New features also reduce energy consumption, and shortcuts have appeared on the home page.

The iPhone 14 Plus is not unanimous

It is a report from The Information which reveals that Apple has decided to suspend the production of several parts of the iPhone 14 Plus, which does not attract enough fans. Indeed, the model is not popular enough and the American giant seems to have to revise its objectives downwards and slow down the production rate.

Electric vehicle battery efficiency up dramatically

Researchers from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology have found a way to increase the range of electric cars by 25% by changing the shape of the cathode particles. By optimizing the empty space of the cathodes, the scientists managed to obtain a greater density and thus to increase the efficiency of the battery but also its lifespan.
