The first facelift for the VW ID.3 is coming up. Volkswagen will present the electric car on March 1st and will publish an official teaser video.

The small Volkswagen ID.3 has an eventful history behind it. When it premiered in 2019, it generated so much interest that the many pre-orders brought the VW servers to their knees. Then the compact electric car made a name for itself due to discrepancies in the software. Nevertheless, the sales figures in Germany were at some point ahead of Tesla.
The VW Group announced in December 2022 that the first facelift for the ID.3 would soon be available. A concrete date has now been set for March 1st. In a teaser video, some changed design elements, such as newly drawn taillights with X graphics, can already be seen.
The short clip leaves many questions unanswered. Leaked photos from the Internet could reveal more here, showing the new edition of the ID.3 during winter test drives. There will also be fresh design elements and technical changes in the interior.
price and availability
The central touchscreen should grow from 10 to 12 inches diagonally. In this breath, the ID.3 will also get new software.
The first vehicles are not expected to be delivered before the fourth quarter of 2023. So far, nothing has leaked out about the price of the VW ID.3, but the originally targeted price of around 30,000 euros has meanwhile been significantly removed. Instead, the “ID. Golf” could soon settle in this region.
