A trio celebrated the turn of the year a little too early and a little too loud with gunshots. So the police came to Linz and looked for the shooters.
Several police tires were ordered to the Linz industrial line, because according to a report there had been firing of gunshots and firing of pyrotechnic objects. Five people were found on site, including a 22-year-old German citizen from Sierning, a 27-year-old from St. Florian near Linz and a 21-year-old from Linz find unloaded alarm pistol. The three men confessed to the guns firing, and a provisional gun ban was imposed on them. The alarm pistol was also seized.
