4 outfit ideas with which we also shine at home

This year we are spending New Year's Eve at home. But that doesn't mean that we can't shine in our favorite outfits anyway. Here are four ideas that are both cozy and chic.

Everything will be different in 2020 – and that won't change on New Year's Eve either. The fact that we can't celebrate as usual doesn't mean that we can't dress up. Cozy and chic is the style motto this New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve at home: Cozy but still chic

1. Sequin skirt

Anyone who spends the start of the new year more or less on the couch naturally wants an outfit that is as comfortable as possible. A skirt is just perfect there. And sequins are screaming for New Year's Eve, so we simply combine both. We wear a cozy knitted sweater with the midi skirt and the look is round. Any questions?

2. Sweetheart neckline

This look combines two of the biggest trends of the year – leather and sweetheart necklines – in one look. Due to the special neckline, the long-sleeved shirt looks anything but boring and the slightly wider pants in leather look add a little more glamor to the whole thing. A pair of subtle heeled sandals go perfectly with this, but sneakers and boots would also be a good choice.

3. Velvet blazer

If you don't like sequins, you can opt for velvet instead. Is there anything that looks more classy? A cool velvet blazer in elegant colors such as dark blue, green or dark red can make any look, no matter how simple, look super elegant and festive. Either you combine it with jeans or black trousers – it just always works! By the way, it looks really casual when you pull a print shirt under your blazer. A cool break in style. Those who prefer a feminine look can opt for a lace bralette.

4. Waterfall top

You thought the waterfall cutout was long gone? Nearly! The only way we still wear it are tops with thin straps. Here, too, we like to use sequin tops or a satin look on New Year's Eve. That makes the top twice as special. The best: These tops go great with jeans, pants of all kinds and skirts. Jackpot!
