On New Year’s Eve there was a mass brawl between 20 and 30 people in the city of Salzburg. In the course of this, a security employee shot several times in the air with a pistol.
Two of the people involved in the brawl were injured, the Salzburg police said on Sunday. The incident happened in a restaurant at the airport center. Provisional weapons ban issued A provisional weapons ban was issued against the 38-year-old Romanian security service employee, and two pistols and magazines were seized. Six bullet casings were found at the scene, police said.
