Fashion fans can breathe a sigh of relief: NYFW is back and even if the show plan isn’t quite the same, the latest trends are already assuring us: the wait was worth it!

New York – the city that never sleeps. Almost. The city that slept for a year and a half and has now fortunately woken up again! Because Fashion Week is back! It has been almost a year and a half since shows were able to take place in front of an audience. For the past three seasons, the world’s most famous fashion houses have been forced to have their fashion shows largely digitally held due to the corona pandemic. But now the Fashion Week is in full swing again and provides us with a good portion of trends …

All eyes on me

Tom Ford’s collection was designed to be seen. That’s right! After all, we’ve sat around at home long enough. One more reason to go full throttle when it comes to fashion. So we pepper sweatpants and hoodies into the corner and rely on sequins, velvet and satin and yes, like everything at once. Holding back is no more. But don’t panic. Still, it doesn’t get uncomfortable. Because the cuts remain casual and wide. Just with a good dose of glamor.

Back to the office

And do you still know that? Yes a, is longs here, but there was actually a time when you didn’t work from the kitchen table in a baggy T-shirt and wide pants, but threw yourself into chic workwear and started the journey to the office. The collection from Peter do inspires with perfect tailoring and ensures with elegant trouser suits for anticipation and almost a little excitement. So when we return to the office, we reach for oversized blazers, elegant blouses and wide trousers – preferably in chic beige or timeless black.

Dream Away

The designers also seem to have had wanderlust and dream of hot beaches with their creations. The summer favorite batik is therefore still very popular, like us at Altuzarra could see. Unlike in previous years, we are wearing a more relaxed version of the gaudy trend: gcovered Colors, casual cuts.

Sex sells

The theme of love also appears after over a year Social distancing a place in fashion Week to have found. Because the designers rely on “sex Sells“And more than ever. But not in the way you think. Designer Michael Kors shows how: his collection, inspired by that Pleasure of love, shows stylish Cut-outs and sexy bras combined with elegant ones Pencil skirts and sensual red lips. And even if we combine the bra with a blouse or top in everyday life, we can remember one thing: We show what we have. Take courage!

Stay cozy

Whoever panicked had to have his Homewear give up completely, can breathe easy. Because even the designers don’t seem to find it easy to separate from cozy loungewear. That’s why designer Joseph Altuzarra his collection continues to focus on comfortable cuts and XXL cardigans. Noble details such as the golden buttons make the relaxed trend suitable for everyday use and yes, almost even for the office. What more do we want?
