Newell Brands cuts 13% of its office workforce

(Boursier.com) — Newell Brands, an American consumer products company known in particular for its Rubbermaid brand, has announced a restructuring plan aimed at reducing costs by 220 to 250 million dollars a year. Thus, the group will cut 13% of its office workforce, the cuts starting in the first quarter and to be finalized this year. The restructuring could cost up to $130 million. At the end of December 2021, the group employed 32,000 people worldwide.
