The neurons will heat up
In 2020, Christopher Nolan offered us yet another complex work with TENET. The film focuses on a CIA agent who investigates a certain Sator, an arms trafficker. The latter has a considerable advantage that would surely make Sargon from Prince of Persia envious: the manipulation of time. Indeed, thanks to machines that can reverse the entropy of objects, the big bad guy manages to navigate the course of events in the other direction. Fortunately, our good hero, accompanied by Agent Neil played by Robert Pattinson, will have the opportunity to also use this technology to thwart the antagonist’s plans.
As we said before, the film is rather complicated to follow. Just take a look at our forums to see many posts titled “I didn’t understand anything about the movie TENET”. The characters go in one direction or the other like a palindrome. These concepts are inspired by the mysterious antique that is the Sator square. Despite rather positive reviews, Nolan’s film left more than one viewer in the lurch. The film ultimately grossed $365 millionit’s more than the $200 million budget he requested, but less than the $400 million to reach the break-even point estimated by analysts.
He returns, bigger than ever
In the United States, Christopher Nolan’s TENET will be broadcast in 70 mm for one week in Imax theaters at the end of February. This new edition will arrive on February 23 and will coincide with the release of Dune: Part Two by Denis Villeneuve. TENET spectators will also have the right to discover new extracts from Dune: Part Two during the session. What about France? The Pathé group announced that he was also proposing to see TENET again in Imax, and from now on, and for a short week.
