In the middle of an interview for the Netflix film In full flight (Lift in VO), Sam Worthington has spoken out about the Avatar sequel. It is in just a month that he will resume his role in this saga which, according to him, will be particularly promising:
We’re going back to work in a month and it’s huge. It’s bigger than you can imagine.
It is interesting to know that James Cameron is currently working on post-production of the third opus which should be released on December 19, 2025 and certain scenes from Avatar 4 have already been filmed for its release in December 2029. In other words, the filmmaker is indeed working on the continuation of the science fiction saga. It was even before the release of the second film that production focused on the sequel and, according to Sam Worthington, it is a colossal project.
