One day, the crew comes across a space shuttle which contains on board a young 7-year-old girl, obviously wanted by the authorities. Thinking they could receive a bonus, the crew then decides to deliver the young girl. But things don’t go as planned…
Directed by Sung-hee Jo, Space Sweepers is above all real entertainment which offers spectators superb space sequences. But the film also benefits from an effective story with touching characters, a motley team which is reminiscent of the Guardians of the Galaxy from the House of Ideas. Finally, Space Sweepers is a frankly refreshing sci-fi production, an excellent film to share with family or friends, to discover now on Netflix.
