Keanu Reeves recently appeared in public with a new look that did not fail to surprise moviegoers accustomed to seeing him sporting the “John Wick” style made of a long haircut and a tailored three-piece suit. The one nicknamed “The Pop Messiah” is no longer the Baba Yaga so feared in Hollywood.
The end of “John Wick” style
Multifaceted artist Keanu Reeves, sometimes an actor and sometimes a rocker, has just said goodbye to a haircut that has characterized him since the very first film in the John Wick action saga in 2014. It’s been almost 10 years since the Canadian-born actor kept his long hair, but it’s now ancient history. For the purposes of the film “Outcome”, he did not hesitate to cut it very short, which does not bode well for the hypothetical John Wick 5 mentioned, without ever being made official, by director Chad Stahelski.
!!! Spoiler alert!!! John Wick: Chapter 4 marks the end of the bloody and eventful career of the most lethal killer to hit the big screen in the last ten years. Baba Yaga is no longer as evidenced by the last shots of the fourth film in the saga. However, Hollywood has no equal when it comes to resurrecting a character declared “ad patres”. It would then be necessary to justify narratively speaking such a return. A return that seems distant (or even impossible). John Wick with short hair turns out to be unlikely.
