Christopher Nolan has been for several years, and even more so in 2024 with his latest film Oppenheimer, one of the most influential directors in Hollywood. After qualifying Dune: Part 2 by Denis Villeneuve as the new Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, he believes that the sole casting of a now iconic character has forever changed the Western film industry.
Oppenheimer is expected to win a large number of statuettes at the next Oscars ceremony which will be held on Tuesday March 11, 2024 between midnight and 3:00 a.m. With 13 nominations including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (see all nominations below), the film directed by Christopher Nolan is in the running to mark the History of the 7th Art.
