New Amsterdam

Among all the different genres of series, hospital series are surely the most numerous alongside detective series. However, despite the profusion of these, everything seems to indicate that there will never be enough given the incessant popularity of the genre. Recently, a new hospital series has stood out in France and internationally: the famous New Amsterdam. Created by David Schulner and broadcast since 2018, this series revolves around Dr. Max Goodwin as he becomes the director of one of the oldest hospitals in the United States, New Amsterdam. As is often the case in this type of series, the goal is to go through the hospital environment to highlight American societal problems, here mainly the lack of resources and the overload of bureaucracy. In addition to having to manage his hospital, Max Goodwin must also live with cancer which is gradually eating away at him, and do everything to win back his pregnant wife from whom he separated. While the first three seasons were already available on Netflix, the SVOD service will add the fourth and penultimate from June 1.

Sweet Tooth

Even if it did not necessarily have the same success as Stranger Things or Squid Game, the fantasy series Sweet Tooth is certainly one of Netflix’s flagship programs. Broadcast since 2021 on the SVOD platform, the latter already consisted of two exciting seasons taking place in our world while a virus has decimated a large part of the human race. Among the survivors, we find in particular a new half-animal, half-human hybrid race which seems immune to any disease. Feared and hunted by most humans, this new species must hide to survive, and it is precisely in this context that we follow Gus, the young protagonist of the series. From June 6, viewers will finally be able to discover the third and final season in full on Netflix. A way for the SVOD service to get off to a good start before the series becomes too long, which should please fans even if they will necessarily have to say goodbye to their favorite characters.

Two families are then at the center of all attention: the Bridgertons and the Featheringtons. For this third season, it is the third daughter of the Featheringtons – Penelope – who was highlighted. Helped by her childhood friend Colin Bridgerton, she desperately searches for a husband throughout the season, while gradually and despite herself getting closer to her friend Colin. That ’90s Show

If you liked the famous series That ’70s Show, you probably know that it recently got a real sequel called That ’90s Show. Broadcast on Netflix since January 2023, the latter is created by Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner, Gregg Mettler and Lindsay Turner and places its story around the children of the main characters of the original series. The scenario therefore takes place in the middle of the 1990s (in 1995 to be precise). Leia Forman, then 15, originally lived in Chicago before arriving with her parents Donna and Eric Forman in the small town of Point Place, Wisconsin. After spending a few days with her grandparents, Leia decides to stay all summer and will meet other people with whom she will form a strong friendship.
