Odermatt also at the start of the World Championship combination

Marco Odermatt will start at the World Ski Championships in Courchevel/Méribel in addition to his traditional disciplines in the combination. The leader in the overall World Cup forms the Swiss quartet together with Loïc Meillard, Justin Murisier and Stefan Rogentin. The man from Nidwalden has already proven that Odermatt can be fast not only in the downhill, in the Super-G and in the giant slalom. He won one of his 5 gold medals at the Junior World Championships 2018 in Davos in the combination. “For me, it’s primarily Super-G training,” Odermatt explains when he started: “Due to the planning, you almost have to do the combo to be well prepared for the Super-G.” In Courchevel/Méribel, for the first time in 30 years, a World Ski Championships will open with a combination.
