Meghan Markle makes a clear announcement: At an online event of the "Girl Up" initiative, in a blazing video speech, she demanded that young women should no longer be content with the state of the world – but instead must continue to drive positive change forward.
"Your voice is needed!"
In her video message, Meghan made it clear that women can no longer be silenced and pushed aside. "With the power of your conviction, you have the chance to create a more humane and just world," said the Duchess to the approximately 40,000 participants who followed the event from 172 countries. "Your gut feeling knows the difference between right and wrong – and between fair and unfair." The Duchess knew that the uncomfortable way was not always pleasant and also addressed her own experiences.
