Want to get your hands on the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring, but don’t know where to look for it? In this article, we explain how to get your hands on the Lord of Blasphemy’s Greatsword!

Summary of all our guides on Elden Ring

Summary

  • How to get the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring?
  • I no longer remember the lord of blasphemy… What should I do?
  • In which build to play the Blasphemous Blade?

The Blasphemous Blade cannot be obtained by visiting the various points of interest in Elden Ring. The latter can only be found by eliminating the boss of the Mount Gelmir area, namely Rykard.

To find it, you will have to go to Volcano Manor. To meet him, you have two options: complete Tanith’s requests so that she can bring you to him or go through the secret passage which will naturally lead you to him. For a question of loot and runes, we advise you to complete Tanith’s requests, but nothing prevents you from visiting the entire mansion!

However, it is not at the end of this boss fight that you will be able to obtain the Blasphemous Blade. To acquire it, you will need to exchange the Memory of the Lord of Blasphemy with Enia, the Augur of the Fingers, at the Round Table for the swordfish.

I no longer remember the lord of blasphemy… What should I do?

If you have already consumed the Memory of the Lord of Blasphemy, know that you can obtain it a second time by duplicating it at the Wandering Mausoleums. But to do that, you’ll have to reach them. How to do ?

By removing the piles of skulls that are visible on their legs you will be able to make them lower so that you can enter the mausoleum. Afterwards, all you have to do is interact with the corpse lying on the coffin to duplicate the memory of the Lord of Blasphemy.

Once you have collected the souvenir, all you have to do is go see Enia to buy the item of your desires.

  • Duplicating a memory only works once, so if you’ve done it before, we are unfortunate to announce that you will no longer be able to obtain the Blasphemous Blade.

In which build to play the Blasphemous Blade?

The Blasphemous Blade requires 22 Strength, 15 Dexterity, and 21 Faith to be wielded at full power. It will have a special place in Faith builds, because its main affinity is in this statistic after improvement (+1 ⮕ D, +10 ⮕ B).

The particularity of the Blasphemous Blade lies in its skill, Flames of the Plunderer, which allows its wielder to recover life points from opponents affected by this skill. But that’s not all, because it has a small passive bonus which allows you to recover approximately 4% of life points for each defeated opponent.

This weapon then falls into the category of unique weapons, so you will not be able to change its war ashes, nor enchant it with incantations.. To upgrade it, you will need Dark Forge Stones and not standard stones. However, the lifesteal bonus pairs perfectly with the Rune of Rykard.
