As you know, Call of Duty MW 3 is a game that is constantly evolving, over the seasons and updates. Well, in a while, the highly anticipated ranked mode should make its appearance and here we summarize everything we know about it!

Summary of all our guides on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

When will ranked arrive in Modern Warfare 3?

As we have just told you, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, like all its predecessors, evolves as its seasons progress. Overall, in the calendar, there are two major content additions during a season. Of course, the launch of the latter is one of them.

But mid-season, we are always entitled to a “reloaded” patch which is accompanied by numerous updates both in terms of gameplay, but also in game modes. Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is no exception to the rule.

Indeed, for its Reloaded patch, season 1 will welcome the traditional ranked mode which allows you to play against players of your level and gradually climb the ladder. It’s a tradition that comes up in every Call of Duty game and it’s no wonder he’s back.

As for the date, as we told you, it is that of the release of the Reloaded patch for season 1, i.e. next January 17. If we rely on what has been happening for a while, it should be available around 7 p.m., although it is always possible that it will be published a few hours late.

What game modes and maps will be available in ranked games?

Now that we know that it’s Wednesday evening that we will be able to launch our first ranked games on Modern Warfare 3, all that remains is to focus on what will be available, but also on what will not be at launch.

If we’re telling you this, it’s because this year, Activision has made a pretty strong decision, only the cards that were available at the launch of the game will be accessible for the moment in ranked on Modern Warfare 3! This means that maps like Rio which will arrive with the patch will not be available.

So, this may change as the patches progress, but the idea is that overall the players know the cards well before putting them into play. For more details, you will find below the complete list of available cards depending on the game modes.
