What is Featured Hour in Pokémon GO?
Among the weekly events offered by Pokémon GO, we can find the Featured Hours. Every week, they allow highlight a particular Pokémon by boosting its appearance rates and offering a special bonus to players.
The Pokémon in question is featured for 1 hour during which players are encouraged to catch as many Pokémon of that species as possible in order to earn enough candy to evolve these Pokémon and of course add them to their Pokédex.

According to Niantic, the next Featured Hour will take place this Tuesday March 5, 2024 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (local hour). During this slot, it is Pohm which will appear frequently. Pohm is a type Pokémon Electric from the ninth generation. It can evolve into Pohmotte with 25 Candiesthen in Pohmarmote after walking 25km with it and giving it 100 Candieswhich you can get in capturing Pokémon, in transferring to Professor Willow, and in many other ways.
During the Featured Hour, you will be able to catch a lot of Pohm, and gain twice as much Evolution XP thanks to the associated bonus.

As their name suggests, Featured Hours only last 60 minutes, it is therefore necessary to prepare before the event in order to maximize your time and catch as many Pokémon as possible. To do this, you can follow the following checklist:
- Make sure you have enough Poké Balls.
- Stock up on Berries to make it easier to capture and obtain bonuses.
- Make room in your Pokémon storage box.
- Buy Incense (at least 2 to cover the total duration of the event).
