Are you looking for the summon ash of Finlay, the Knight of Noble Rot, but you can’t get your hands on it to obtain the trophy linked to the ashes? In this article, you will find its exact position so that you can add it to your build!
Where to find Finlay’s Summoning Ash?
Finlay’s summoning ash can be found in the last optional area of Elden Ring, namely Elphael, the Corset of the Holy Tree.
The path to obtaining summon ash is quite simple, but you had to think about it to come across it naturally. See instead.
Starting from the site of grace “Prayer room”, head northeast to exit the room. Walk to the end of the balcony, then go down the stairs in front of you. Then jump from the balustrade, where there were two soldiers taking a break, to fall on the exterior beam, then go down to the place where there is a beetle which holds vials of life.
In the room on the left, you will come face to face with a knight of the Noble Rot, but above all a chest: the one which holds Finlay’s summoning ash.
Elphael is not an area that can be visited easily, because you must first complete two major events and two minor events:
Once you have met the first two conditions, you can go to Rold’s elevator, which is located just after Leyndell, the capital, to use the secret medallion of the Sacred Tree.
- By default, the game will suggest that you use the elevator to go to the Giant’s Peaks… Change your action to be able to use the secret medallion to then go to the Consecrated Snowfields.
Instead of taking you to the Peaks of the Giants, the latter will take you to the Consecrated Snowfields. Once out of the catacomb, head north to go to the liturgical city of Ordina. Complete the puzzle of the 4 torches, then take the teleporter: it will drop you in the branches of the Sacred Tree of Miquella.
Within this area, your mission will be to reach the grace site “Charmille of the Sacred Tree” to defeat Loretta, knight of the tree. And once defeated, you will have access to the elevator that leads to Elphael.
