Where to find the Golden Oath in Elden Ring?
You cannot add Golden Oath to your early game build in Elden Ring. Indeed, this incantation can be recovered relatively late in your adventure, because you will have to reach the Fetid Cabin which is located at the foot of Mount Gelmir.
From the “Bridge of Iniquity” grace site, head west through the battlefield between the fallen soldiers and the iron maidens. At the end of the path, you can see a dilapidated cabin with many corpses around. In the latter, on the remains of a nobleman, you can get your hands on the Golden Oath.
The Golden Oath is an incantation that increases players’ attack and defense:
- Increased damage : +15%
- Defense Increase : +10%
- Buff Duration : 80 seconds
As you can notice, the effects of the buff wear off after 80 seconds. It’s not bad, but be aware that the duration of the bonus can be improved by equipping the Ancient Lord’s Talisman. The latter extends the effects of the Golden Oath to 104 secondswhich can be very interesting for boss fights.
Although bonuses of the same type cannot stack, in the case of the Golden Oath it is possible to enhance its effects with another incantation and other items.
Indeed, you will be able to strengthen your strike force with the incantation “Flame, strengthen me” and improve your defense by consuming boiled shrimp.
Boiled shrimp can be purchased from the Malfrat located at the site of grace “Boiled shrimp hut” from Lake Liurnia.
Note that the Ancient Lord’s Talisman will allow you to improve your physical damage for 39 seconds, while the base duration is 30 seconds.
