As you stroll through the skies of Highlands around Hogwarts in Hogwarts Legacy, you may have noticed that a few balloons are positioned here and there. Always arranged in series of 5, they are easily recognizable by their red and yellow color. You can even highlight them with the Revelio spell to help you spot them from a distance. But what exactly are they for?
In addition to offering you a little satisfying challenge to do and to train yourself to steer well on your broom, popping balloons will mainly help you complete one of the many exploration challenges in Hogwarts Legacy. By achieving the latter, you will increase the score of your Wizard’s GuideAnd you can earn up to 4 new flying broom skins. To do this, you will have to burst the balloons by rushing over them with your broom. You will gain a new appearance after popping 2, 5, 10 and 15 sets of 5 balloons. In the southeast of the region, south of the “Eastern North Ford Swamp” Floo Flame.
Balloon Set No. 2
Just above Pitt-upon-Ford.
Hogwarts North Region
In the south of the region, northeast of the Floo Flame “Veaudelunes Lair”.
Hogsmeade Valley
Just above the hamlet of Campold-en-Haut.
Hogwarts South Region

Right next to the Hogwarts Express bridge, east of Hogwarts.

South of Aranshire, near the Hogwarts Express tracks.

Above the sea southwest of Feldcroft, not far from the “South Feldcroft” Floo Flame.

In the canyon southwest of Irondale.

Above the water north of Rookwood Castle.

A little further north of the previous balloons, between the ruins and the Floo Flame “North of Feldcroft”.

Leaving the Caverne Côtière towards the Côte du Collet, you won’t be able to miss them right in front of the exit.

From the middle of the large river in the area, head downstream to find them all.

From the point of land at the very south of the region (where there is also a landing platform), you will find all the balloons, popping them as you go.

Above the ruins of the church east of the Floo Flame “Lac de Grottaleau”.
Pointe du Manoir

Walk along the cliffs behind the mansion to the northwest of the area.

You will need to spot them at the same time as you finish the previous set. Continue following the cliffs to the west of the region heading south.
Salgât Coast
In the canyon west of Salgât Castle. Follow the balloons as you skim along the coast to find them all.
Cragcroftshire

Above the river which marks the border between Cragcroftshire and the Salgât Coast.

Just above the hamlet of Cragcroft.
