A mother can’t believe how brutal the priest is when her baby is baptized – and indignantly posts a video on Facebook.

One mother is horrified at the way her baby was treated at his baptism. It should have been a solemn, devout process – but the priest's work was a little different than expected.
Well, every baby cries when they are baptized, right?
Yes, of course – who wants to be splashed with water in front of a large audience? But there really was every reason to scream here; the priest was surprisingly brutal at the baptism.
Brutally? My God, what did he do?
It's hard to see how brutally he tosses the baby through the air and lets it crash into the baptismal font. It was of course not seriously injured – but you can understand that the parents caught their breath at the sight. He literally slammed the child into the water three times – unmoved by the panicked screams and the terrified looks of the parents.
Wasn't there any trouble for that?
No, the priest officially didn't do anything wrong. And in Cyprus it is probably not that unusual for baptisms to be a little … lively. The child's mother ventured her anger anyway and posted these hard-to-take pictures on Facebook. It was very clear to her that her baby had suffered greatly from this baptism. "The baby was all red and in shock!", She writes about the recordings. "That man ruined our most beautiful day."
And what does the priest say about the allegations?
He is not aware of any guilt and does not have the feeling that he has done anything wrong. From his point of view, the reason for his fast pace was even consideration for the child. "I didn't want to hurt the baby under any circumstances," he later told the British Daily Mail. "When I realized that it was very stressed, I also tried to end the ceremony as soon as possible."
