News video: That's why there are two different children's bars

Who doesn't love her The delicious chocolate for in between. Children's bars have been with us all (almost) our entire lives. But now the design of the packaging has been changed – and you can find two different versions of the children's bars in the shops.

For many of us, they are fond memories of our own childhood: Kinder bars are the epitome of sweet indulgence in school and kindergarten and have dominated our chocolate range for decades. The packaging, too, often immediately gives off nostalgia – because the design hasn't changed for years – until now.

The new children's bar, next to the old version on the shelf

We have found this delicacy here in Germany since 1981. At the moment, however, it may well be that two versions of the bar fall into your hands while shopping – because we are in the middle of the transition phase from old to new design. Fans of the old packaging shouldn't hoard anyway – because the old chocolate bars are unlikely to become coveted collector's items even with die-hard Ferrero fans.
