(Boursier.com) — Nexans has received clearance from the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) of Colombia, which will allow Nexans SA to proceed with the proposed acquisition of Centelsa from Xignux SA. “We are very pleased that the SIC has approved this transaction as it demonstrates the Group’s ability to become a Pure Player in electrification. This important step in the process of integrating Centelsa into the Nexans Group will benefit all stakeholders”, added Christopher Guérin, CEO of Nexans.
