(CercleFinance.com) – Nexans has finalized the acquisition of Centelsa, a high-end cable manufacturer in Latin America, specializing in building and energy network applications after obtaining regulatory approvals.
With sales of more than $339 million in 2021, Centelsa’s three production plants in Cali, Colombia, and its distribution center in Ecuador, will strengthen Nexans’ presence in Latin America.
The Group already has four industrial sites in the region (Colombia, Peru, Chile and Brazil) and employs 1,300 people. Nexans’ regional headquarters will now be located in Cali.
