Nexon and Neople announce the Souls-like named Arad Chronicle: Kazan

We will have to wait until November 17 to 20 to find out more about this project, on the occasion of the G-Star 2022 convention held in Busan, South Korea. Only then will Nexon show more of the game, in partnership with Neople. If the duo evokes something for you, it is of course because they have already collaborated this year on the production of DNF Duel.

Unsurprisingly, their new project, described as a action RPG inspired by Dark Souls, will join the Dungeon Fighter franchise, a behemoth in Korea and more generally in Asia. Despite the use of cel shading that we can see on video, it is a much darker universe that the game seems to depict than that of the usual canons of DNF games. The description of the trailer explains it well: “Arad Chronicle: Kazanwhich expands the Dungeon Fighter Online universe, is a action RPG in 3D which takes place approximately 800 years before the events of the main game. Live the story of General Kazan and Archmage Ozma, who defeated the Berserk Dragon Hismar, who had invaded the Pelos Empire.

We do not know for the moment when the game will be released, nor at what price, but we know that it will be released “on console” without further details.
