Italian football, fantasy football and NFT fans can rub their hands. On July 25, Sorare announced an exclusive partnership with the Lega Serie A, the Italian football league, starting from the 2022/2023 season.

After the Spanish Liga in September 2021 and the Bundesliga (German championship) last February, Calcio is the third major football league to partner with the French unicorn. This partnership will allow Italian clubs to access new sources of income with the sale of licenses but also to develop new links with fans. For the moment, this agreement concerns 17 clubs out of the 20 who will start the championship on August 13.
The Italian Premier League is one of the most watched football leagues in the world. According to Sorare, the Italian market is the one with the strongest growth for the company. In addition, transalpine users represent the second largest community in the game.
