Nice plug: and your home becomes smarter with Plug-Control

The Plug-Control is the new connected socket from the manufacturer Nice. Controlling itself remotely like many of its peers, it has other interesting features, including consumption monitoring.

Connected sockets make it easier to control the objects present in our home. By connecting a device to the Nice Plug-Control, it will notably be possible to switch it on and off remotely. For these purposes, you must download the application and pair the socket to be able to use this possibility.

But that’s not all. The Plug-Control goes further and offers additional features that are sometimes very valuable. It is, for example, very useful for controlling energy consumption. Indeed, an LED ring hugs the contours of the socket and lights up from blue to purple depending on the amount of energy used. More accurate tracking is also available on the app. The Plug Control offers the possibility of creating programs to start or stop the equipment at a certain time, for example.

Its ultra-compact format reminds us of the Konyks Priska Max Easy, which we tested. We therefore assume that the Nice can squeeze into any electrical outlet in the house. It is also compatible with a Z-Wave or Z-Wave Plus home automation box, such as the Yubii Home from the same manufacturer. This box makes it possible to centralize all the smart devices in the home, including the Plug-Control. The smart plug is available at a price of €95 from the network of authorized Nice retailers.
