Nick Wilder is changing his saddle: from June he will no longer ride through Montana, but across the stage in Bad Segeberg. Two TV colleagues accompany him.

Bad Segeberg is becoming a “dream ship” meeting point: For the new season, the Karl May Games have hired an illustrious TV trio as guest stars, as the game management announced. Under the motto “wild, wilder, Nick Wilder”, it’s not just the long-time “dream ship” doctor Nick Wilder (71) who joins the famous Wild West games. His former “Cruise into Happiness” colleague Jan Hartmann (43) also takes part in the play “Winnetou II – Ribanna and Old Firehand” in Schleswig-Holstein. “Good Times, Bad Times” star Sila Sahin-Radlinger (38) plays the beautiful Ribanna in the female lead role. And as Winnetou, Alexander Klaws (40) is once again firmly in the saddle this season, as he has been since 2017.

From Montana to the German Wild West

Between 2011 and 2020, Nick Wilder as Doc Sander took care of the big and small ailments of the “dream ship” passengers. Since leaving the ship, the native of Fehmarn, also known as the advertising icon “Mr. Kaiser”, has lived either in South Tyrol or in the US state of Montana. He runs a magnificent guest house there. And of course: Even in Montana, Wilder likes to get on the back of a horse and ride into the sunset. In this regard, his role as Wild West businessman Emery Forster is unlikely to mean much change. On the Bad Segeberg stage, however, he rules the imaginary city of Venango with an iron hand and “in addition to his natural charm, he also brings an ice-cold ruthlessness to the stage,” according to the announcement of the piece.

Jan Hartmann’s return home

In the far north, Wilder meets ex-colleague Jan Hartmann. In the now discontinued “Dream Ship” spin-off “Cruise into Happiness” he guides prospective married couples into the harbor of happiness as wedding planner Tom Cramer. For Hartmann, his involvement in Bad Segeberg means a return to his old homeland: Hartmann was born in 1980 in Kaltenkirchen in the Segeberg district, 30 kilometers away. As the smart and sensitive Westman Old Firehand, he is not only riding into battle side by side with Winnetou this summer. He also competes with him for the favor of the beautiful Ribanna, which is quite explosive. Sila Sahin returns to Bad Segeberg with her commitment after seven years. Back then she was already on the impressive open-air stage as “Lea-tshina – The White Feather”. The premiere of “Winnetou II – Ribanna and Old Firehand” takes place on June 29th and continues in 72 performances until September.
