US rapper takes action against cocaine rumors on the Internet

Nicki Minaj doesn’t put up with being badmouthed on the internet. She is now taking action against a Twitter user.
The US rapper Nicki Minaj (39) goes on the offensive and takes action against drug rumors on the Internet. A woman previously claimed on Twitter that the singer was heavily addicted to cocaine. The celebrity portal “TMZ” now reports, that a defamation lawsuit had been filed, seeking $75,000 in damages. A video of these rumors recently made the rounds and, according to her attorney Judd Burstein, “reached a sizeable audience.”
The musician cannot accept that. Her lawyer made it clear in a statement that her client had never used cocaine. He threatened anyone who would spread this rumor with pithy words: “Anyone else who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer a similar fate.” His marching orders are to aggressively sue anyone who would harm his client with intentional lies: “Ultimately, the lesson will be learned.”
