Tension with the RN
Accused by the RN of “disloyalty”, Nicolas Bay explains in the columns of Figaro that the “true infidelity” with regard to voters is to “give up denouncing the shackles of the European Court of Human Rights, to the leaving Schengen, at the end of dual nationality, accepting PMA without a father”. The new vice-president also filed a complaint against the RN for defamation. Indeed, the far-right party accuses him of having “transmitted strategic and confidential elements” to Éric Zemmour. A “sabotage” that Nicolas Bay disputes in a tweet: “The accusation is crude: not participating in any instance of the campaign management, how could I have known and transmitted alleged strategic information.

In all, three MEPs – Jérôme Rivière, Gilbert Collard and Maxette Pirbakas – joined the candidate of “Reconquête!”.
They were joined last Sunday by the only senator RN Stéphane Ravier, as well as several regional advisers.
