Invited to the 8:30 p.m. set on Sunday, Guy Bedos returned to his filming, which is sometimes very trying. The director confided in his dazzling weight loss.
One of his films is present at the Cannes Film Festival. On the occasion of the promotion of Mascarade, Nicolas Bedos was invited in the program 8:30 p.m. Sundayon France 2, this May 22, 2022. Still as cash, the director mentioned the shooting of certain films which can sometimes be a real headache : “It’s sometimes a lie, when people come to your set to say that it was a joy”he begins by declaring, before continuing: “I don’t experience filming very well, I lose a lot of kilos there, a lot of brown hair, I sometimes leave part of my nervous system there. It’s a test”, he reveals.
And for good reason: Nicolas Bedos is a true perfectionist : “All these geniuses of comedy that are Pierre [Niney] and Marine Vacht, who is the most ideal Margot I could dream of, all these people mobilize all my energy”, he confides. The director even says “to be relieved” when filming ends. Quite astonishing revelations for those who never miss an opportunity to send tackles to their peers. Indeed, Nicolas Bedos had not hesitated to comment on the slap that Will Smith had given to Chris Rock.
Guy Bedos: “Words don’t kill”
Indeed, the filmmaker had written a long message on Instagram: “Hearing here and there people send back to back, or rather face to face, a very bad joke and a huge donut. To see once again, year after year, the sanctification of a growing number of subjects and the criminalization of words, humor, writing, on the sickly momentum of virtual trials. Having to remember that if words sometimes hurt, disturb, dismay, provoke debates, with rare exceptions (punished by law) , words don’t kill.”
