Former M6 boss Nicolas de Tavernost has been appointed vice-president of the board of directors of GL Events, the events group announced in a press release on Thursday.
Mr. de Tavernost will also take the head of a newly created strategic committee, composed of five members, “responsible for analyzing and proposing to the Council the future orientations” of the group, and “will be able to rely for its work on the company’s internal skills”, explains GL Events.
Nicolas de Tavernost, 73, officially gave up his place on Tuesday at the head of the M6 group after 37 years at the helm. His successor is David Larramendy.
On RTL, he announced that he was going to “continue to work in other activities”, notably at GL Events, where he was already an independent director.
