Nicolas Gob (From honey and blood): this very intimate subject at the heart of the film he is going to make


Back in Provence after fifteen years of absence, Captain Carel, played by Nicolas Gob, remembers an accident from which he escaped in From honey and blood to see on France 3 this October 1st.

We discover through this plot the dangerousness of bees or the existence of hive thefts… How did the filming go?

NICHOLAS GOB: We played with real bees. They also impose a certain serenity in order to avoid frightening them…

Wasn’t there once a love story between Fred and Sara (Léa François)?

We guess it. At the end of the plot, we understand that there is future potential between them…

Of honey and blood is therefore the pilot of a series?

No, it’s a unit. But imagining a series within the Central Office for combating damage to the environment and public health would be a good idea.

What did you think of your partner, Lea Francois ?

She’s a good actress and a good comrade. She cut her teeth in More beautiful life. Now she is well equipped to do other things.

your series The Art of Crime meets with success on France 2. Where is the production at?

We shot season 6 in the spring, two 90-minute episodes. It really is a public service series. It’s about art, there’s a detective story, love, comedy…

You were in the spring on the poster of Revenge of the Glitter Shrimp At the movie theater. Is a third installment planned?

No, because this film did less well than the previous one (Spangled Shrimps, editor’s note). He made the fifth (theatrical admissions, editor’s note) of the other. We went out at a time when people weren’t going to the cinema anymore…

Are the ticket prices too high?

Everyone has to get together, but it’s a problem. And meanwhile, the platforms are getting fat. And we are told that there is no more money to make films.

You were revealed by the series Les Bleus: First steps in the police force on M6, in 2006. Did you think you would last in this profession?

I even started twenty years ago. And I never imagined it could last. I still can’t imagine it. This job is the lottery. One day you are on the front line and other times you are nothing.

What project are you working on?

I’m going to make a movie. I am writing it. I had cancer a long time ago and the story revolves around that.

Are your children fans of their father?

Marlon, who is 3 and a half years old, doesn’t really distinguish between fiction and reality… But Lilly-Rose, the oldest, has an interesting opinion on what I do.
