French President Nicolas Sarkozy is celebrating his 65th birthday today. His wife, singer and ex-model Carla Bruni (52) did not miss the opportunity to publicly congratulate her husband on Instagram for his special day. Bruni wrote of a seemingly private black and white picture of the laughing couple: "Happy birthday, my dear" – in three languages. Her words were garnished with red hearts and roses. Louis Sarkozy (22), the politician's youngest son, also posted a heart under the picture.
Bruni, an Italian by birth, and Sarkozy said yes in 2008 at the Élysée Palace in Paris. Her daughter Giulia (8) was born in 2011. The sons Louis, Jean (33) and Pierre (34) also come from Sarkozy's earlier relationships.
