The former President of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy will be the exceptional guest of “Pascal Praud and you”, this Tuesday August 29 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Live for two hours, the former President of the Republic will react to current affairs at the microphone of Pascal Praud and will answer questions from listeners from Europe 1 on the occasion of the release of his book. In this second volume of his memoirs, the former head of state recounts the second part of his five-year term, between 2009 and 2011. “I wanted to take the reader by the hand, to make him live these years at the Élysée as if he had been by my side throughout these events”, specifies the back cover. Throughout the 560 pages, Nicolas Sarkozy returns to the highlights of his visit to the Élysée, such as the speech in Grenoble or his relationship with his American counterpart, Barack Obama. The former president is also interested in the presidential election of 2027 and gives his analysis of current politics in France and internationally.
