Despite a single banner, politicians will demonstrate divided on Sunday against anti-Semitism during a “great civic march”, where Elisabeth Borne will go but not France Insoumise, while the participation of the National Rally is contested by the left and the majority macronist.
More than 1,000 anti-Semitic acts in one month

But the two officials clarified on TF1 that they “would not march alongside” the National Rally, whose announced presence arouses unease on the left and within the majority.
Gérard Larcher called for a “judgment around the values of the Republic” in the face of the resurgence of anti-Semitic acts in France – more than 1,000 in one month, a record – while Ms. Braun-Pivet wanted to “not sully the message” of this march “with sterile polemics”.
