Nicole Kidman: She takes on another series leading role

Nicole Kidman (52) will appear for a series again in front of the camera. The "Big Little Lies" star is said to play one of the two main roles in a TV show based on Janelle Brown's new novel "Pretty Things", as reported by "Variety". Amazon has therefore secured the rights to the book. Several bidders had allegedly sought the story.

Kidman will also produce the project, it is said. The book "Pretty Things", which will be published at the end of April, is about two fateful women – a cheater and a wealthy influencer – whose paths cross dangerously. Who Kidman will play in the film is not yet known, according to "Variety".

Kidman's latest TV project, in which she plays alongside Hugh Grant (59), is the HBO series "The Undoing", which has just been postponed to autumn. She is also said to play the main role in the film adaptation of Liane Moriarty's novel "Nine Perfect Strangers".
