NieR Automata passes the milestone of 7 million units sold

Neither Yoko Taro nor Square Enix thought that NieR Automata would become the phenomenon it is today. The publisher does not hesitate to regularly give us news of the game’s sales, which continue to grow at a steady pace, even five years after the publication of this episode. And since a new milestone has just been reached, Square Enix does not hesitate and reveals to us today that NieR Automata just exceeded 7 million units sold.

Soon a new big trailer for the anime?

In June 2021, NieR Automata already proudly displayed its 6 million copies sold worldwide. A year and a half later, the game gets another million, which was certainly helped by the Switch version released at the beginning of October (which, by the way, was quite successful).

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is not entitled to such an impressive result, but it can still boast of having sold 1.5 million copieswhich isn’t too bad for a remaster.

An event is also taking place all weekend around the license Deny, and if we should probably not expect big announcements, the anime adaptation could give this news again with a trailer a little more consistent. Remember that this anime is scheduled for the month of January 2023, so in not so long.
