Neither Yoko Taro nor Square Enix thought that NieR Automata would become the phenomenon it is today. Soon a new big trailer for the anime?
In June 2021, NieR Automata already proudly displayed its 6 million copies sold worldwide. A year and a half later, the game gets another million, which was certainly helped by the Switch version released at the beginning of October (which, by the way, was quite successful).
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is not entitled to such an impressive result, but it can still boast of having sold 1.5 million copieswhich isn’t too bad for a remaster.
