Nigerian telecom operators appeal to regulator for higher tariffs


The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has stated that there may be justifiable reasons for the request but that no tariff increase will be made without a cost based study to determine the appropriate cost of the services.

On Friday, Nigerian airlines said they would halt operations from Monday until further notice due to the high cost of kerosene.
