Nightingale details its contents ahead of its February 20 release


Announced for February 22, the Early Access of
Nightingale will finally be available 2 days earlier, on Tuesday the 20th. This is not big news, since this change has already been revealed with the press previews. However, Inflexion Games takes a tour of its content to show the differences with the last stress test. The opportunity to see once and for all what awaits us in the Fae Realms.

A rewarding server test

On February 2, a stress test took place on
Nightingale. The goal was to get as many people into the game as possible to make sure errors worked properly. With 50,000 people immersing themselves in this universe during the 9 hours it was available, the result was positive for Inflexion Games. Although there may have been some problems, the servers remained open and accessible throughout the test.

However, this will also have been an opportunity to see how players perceived the different game mechanics, or its functionalities. Thus, at its launch, Nightingale
will finally allow you to modify the key assignment. It will therefore no longer be necessary to switch to an English keyboard to play. The tutorial should also be more in-depth, while crafting and tools will no longer be offered to players. All this will be accompanied by improvements concerning the interface and the technical aspect to limit bugs and crashes.

The biggest change, however, concerns the kingdom card system. From now on, minor cards must be loaded into a transmuter present on the visited world, which will change it in real time. Likewise, it is now possible to return to a kingdom already visited by playing the same combination of cards. But it is still possible to discover a completely new location with the same combination, since this is an option that will be offered.

Endgame content and future additions

Upon its release on February 20, Nightingale will already offer some activities for the high level. These include in particular the
Vaults, dungeons that are procedurally generated and consist of multiple rooms. Each of them contains battles, traps or puzzles to solve to cross it. While it is possible to tackle it alone, the help of a team may quickly become necessary to progress properly. These places contain rare resources, it would be a shame to deprive yourself of them.

Regarding the future, Inflexion Games is being a little more discreet for the moment. New kingdom and creature maps are planned. But above all, they seem to want to listen to feedback from the community to know where to go. This is particularly what they did for the Carmutes, ghostly creatures. These will now no longer be present in forest biomes, and will no longer attack on sight.
