First announced at The Game Awards in December 2021, Nightingale is a crafting and survival game, developed by Inflexion Games. Due to be released in early access on PC this year, the software has recently shown itself.
During the Summer Game Fest 2022 conference, a Nightingale gameplay video was released. This new visual communication presents Realm Cards. These are cards that can be crafted from collected resources, in the world of Nightingale. It will then be possible to give them unique, procedurally generated attributes.
In addition, this new gameplay trailer allows you to have a nice overview of game mechanics, including crafting, combat, and estate building. By the way, on the subject of combat, a new calculating Fae enemy, the Automatonswas unveiled via this video.
According to the latest information shared, it will be possible to play Nightingale solo or in cooperation. Closed beta testing will arrive in the next few months.
As a reminder, Nightingale is due out in early access this year, on PC. For the moment, Inflexion Games has not communicated an official release window or date. We do know that a beta will take place during the summer, during which players will be invited to test the experience so that the developers have plenty of feedback.
